Equipment history as of June 2008
The following table depicts the acquisitions and transfers (mainly through selling on the used market) of the main pieces making up my rig: OTAs, mounts, sensors (film and digital SLR cameras, CCD cameras, etc.). This does NOT include minor equipment such as filters, oculars, camera lenses, etc. For a detailed list of those items, please check out the relevant sections below.

- Meade 8-inch LX50 SCT (my first "serious" scope: optically good, mechanically
poor)
- Meade 8-inch OTA (white-painted LXD version: a real lemon!)
- Celestron Nexstar 8 SCT tube (very good quality optics)
- Skymaster 4.5 Newtonian reflector. I no longer own it, but
I remember the beautiful views it offered of many planetary and deep-sky objects. An entry-level instrument that helped boost my knowledge of the heavens.
